Watch for ways to plan how to use what you learned in Module 3 and prepare for Module 4.
ALSO a hint to what is to come in Module 5!
I have found that by building my lateral stability that I am more capable lifting and holding my kids in various positions and for even longer bouts of time.
Clinically - I find lateral stabilization to be weak on MOST of my low back pain based patients. Once I am able to get them training into the side plank, I rarely need to continue seeing them for chronic and acute low back flare ups.
This movement strategy is A MUST train in order to give you the ability to start lifting weights with more confidence and ability, to be able to take on out door yard or building projects with less fear of injury, and to start getting you back into your sport activities.
The best part is I have found you do not need to train the side plank super intensely or often - just enough to get the system engaged and working.
Please share with those dad's you know that could use some functional RETRAINING in their life!
Practice daily and see you in the next Module.
Happy Training!
